POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Title – "Client Development Specialist", Coppell, TX

DickersonBakker is a consulting firm established in 1985 that works primarily with faith-based nonprofit organizations, providing fundraising and executive search consulting services. Our team of 30+ is located all across the USA. At present we have one physical office in Raleigh, NC, and one office in Coppell, TX (where this position will be located). We have an immediate opening for a Client Development Specialist in our Coppell Office. This is a full-time sales position (40 hours per week), and work hours will be during the normal workday. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. This position reports directly to the VP of Client Development.

Your primary duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Generating B2B engagements through outbound calling from approved and provided lists.
  • Finding leads in target verticals
  • Qualifying sales leads and setting up meetings for sales department to close deals.
  • Making initial follow up to leads from webinars and trade shows.
  • Developing the prospect through lead generation, pipeline management, organization, effective communication and strong listening skills.
  • Following up with current, ending or former client contracts, solicit referrals for potential new prospects and close web leads.
  • Updating and maintaining Hubspot (CRM) database and opportunity funnel on a daily basis, assuring management of prospect database and assuring client communications are captured.
  • Preparing Proposals for the VP of Client Development. Must be able to format documents according to brand standards
  • Assisting with webinar and conference preparations and planning.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The successful candidate will have these traits, characteristics, and experience:

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Cheerful, amiable disposition; ready-to-help attitude; good social "graces"
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Well-organized with high attention to detail
  • Must be flexible, teachable, and quick to learn
  • Self-motivated; able to take direction
  • Must be “tech-savvy” with proficient computer skills (Mac, primarily)
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, (Word, Excel) is a must
  • Proficient experience with Hubspot or similar CRM software is a must
  • Experience working with a consulting firm a strong asset
  • Experience working in the fundraising field a strong asset
  • 3+ years work experience in similar field is preferred.
  • Prior non-profit experience is a plus, particularly within faith-based sector
  • Must be trustworthy and full of integrity
  • Must be able to sit at a desk 4 to 6 hours per day
  • Valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record is also required
  • Must have reliable transportation
