DB&A Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Cole Costanzo as Chief Executive Officer.
For more than 30 years, our consulting team at DB&A has helped well over a thousand nonprofit organizations grow and thrive. When most people think of DB&A, they think of our fundraising services, since that has been the cornerstone of our services for over three decades. Increasingly, however, executive search has become a vitally important part of the services we provide to clients.
When Dickerson, Bakker & Associates first started doing executive search approximately ten years ago, it was mainly to help our clients find qualified fundraisers, and that continues to be a mainstay of our search practice. Recruiting qualified fundraising professionals is one of the most challenging assignments in executive search. Some search firms avoid it altogether. Others dabble in it. We specialize in it.
Over the years, however, our search practice has grown to entail many other types of jobs. Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, Head of School, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Human Resources, Director of Finance and Administration, Director of Marketing & Communications ~ these are just a few examples of the other types of roles we have helped fill.
We are now at the point where it makes sense to launch our search practice as a full-fledged, stand-alone executive search firm, and DB&A is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Cole Costanzo as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company forward. Cole stepped into this new role effective July 1, 2018. In upcoming weeks Cole will be relocating his family to Colorado Springs where he will be opening a new office for DB&A Executive Search.
“I am very excited to have Cole step into this new leadership role,” says Derric Bakker, President and Founder of DB&A. “Over the past several years Cole has done an exceptional job helping a number of clients recruit highly experienced, accomplished and personable professionals for key fundraising and chief executive leadership roles. He has good instincts about people, and remarkable insights into organizational culture and strategy. He also has a keen understanding of the marketplace, with far-reaching network of relationships to draw upon. I cannot imagine anyone better suited to help our executive search clients succeed in recruiting top talent, and I cannot imagine anywhere better than Colorado Springs for him to be located.”
