This is an exciting opportunity to join a premier provider of services and advocacy for those individuals living with developmental disabilities in the greater Castle Rock, Colorado region.  Wellspring Community is seeking its next Executive Director who will provide dynamic leadership in guiding Wellspring to continue its impressive history while positioning it to meet future growth and opportunity.  Wellspring’s vision and focus has been to provide the tools, training, care and opportunities to empower individuals with special needs to live their lives to the fullest extent possible in a God-centered, nurturing environment. The new Executive Director will have a passion for and commitment to Wellspring’s mission and the individuals they serve.  Candidates will have the background and experience to work closely with the leadership team, the Board of Directors and staff to ensure best practices are implemented in all areas to include administrative leadership, strategy/program development, organizational/financial operations and management and resource development.  The new Executive Director will lead the effort to strengthen Wellspring’s capacity to continue to impact the communities it serves as the leading provider of services in sound and lasting ways.

The incoming Executive Director will be a dynamic leader and strong communicator with proven success in leading organizations with similar missional alignment.  He/She will be an innovator, with the ability to define, implement and execute a strategic vision reflecting the goals of the organization, while ensuring the organization is structured appropriately with a talented team in place. His/Her personal faith will be reflected in the vision, leadership and commitment to excellence brought to Wellspring. Further, the new Executive Director will work closely with the Board to develop a comprehensive, sustainable resource funding model that supports current and future needs by identifying and cultivating current and potential partners, donors, and stakeholders to expand funding resources.
