We are excited to announce the opening of a new search for the next Human Resources Director for Volunteers of America Northern Rockies (VOANR). This position will report directly to CFO Julie Bettcher and serve on the VOANR senior leadership team alongside 6 other Director-level leaders from across the organization.

With a mission “To compassionately serve and strengthen individuals by empowering them to build healthy and happy lives,” this Christian, faith-based organization is guided by a professional staff and committed volunteers who help create strong families and thriving communities through progressive holistic programs by lending a hand up, not a handout.

VOANR’s staff and transformational services stretch across three-states – Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota – one of the largest geographical footprints of any Volunteers of America affiliate nationwide. Having been on a significant growth trajectory for the last 15 years which continues today, VOANR is eager to engage an experienced Human Resources professional to help lead, inform, and shape this people-centric organization’s culture, recruiting, talent development/retention, and regulatory compliance. Prior human resources manager-level experience in organizations as large or larger than VOANR will be a prerequisite for consideration for this position.

Based at VOANR’s beautiful headquarters at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in the small western town of Sheridan, Wyoming, the new HR Director will have the opportunity to help develop and implement all aspects of traditional Human Resources and Talent Management as well as intentional culture shaping for a staff of more than 200 human services professionals stretching across diverse operations in three states.
