Traders Point Christian Schools (TPCS) in Whitestown, Indiana, a northwest suburb of Indianapolis, is currently seeking its next Head of School. This is an exciting time in the life of TPCS as it continues to grow, increasing its capacity to impact the region through providing education within the framework of a Biblical worldview. Today, TPCS has over 760 students in Pre-K through 12th grade representing student families from over 90 churches in the region. Positioned on 10 acres of land donated by its strategic partner Traders Point Christian Church, TPCS operates on a campus which includes a new high school building which opened August, 2017. The Board of TPCS is looking for new leadership that will continue the quest for excellence that has been its hallmark since inception in 1990.
A unique opportunity awaits the right individual who is a strong leader and administrator with the passion, strategic vision, resource development skills and business acumen to lead TPCS. The Head of School reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the daily operation of all facets of TPCS life. The successful candidate will be a servant-leader, firmly grounded in Biblical principles and fully committed to the integration of faith and learning. He/She will be a spiritually-mature, visionary leader who is committed to Christian education and possesses the knowledge and ability to define the vision for TPCS, develop the appropriate strategic framework and organization, and provide leadership to achieve its goals and objectives.
The Head of School will be Christ-centered with strong convictions and thoroughly committed to TPCS’s mission while passionate about the students and families they serve. A Bachelor’s degree is required while a Masters’ Degree in Education or related field with appropriate education/administration credentials is preferred. Successful candidate will have successful experience in strategic planning, non-tuition related funding programs, and leading an educational institution to growth and expansion.
