We are encouraged to announce our search for the next Vice President of Membership for the Sportsmen’s Alliance and its Foundation. Having engaged the Foundation’s first Vice President of Development in 2018, CEO Evan Heusinkveld is eager to identify a uniquely qualified and gifted Vice President of Membership to complete his Executive Leadership Team and complement the organizations’ existing fundraising efforts. This senior executive will be responsible for the development and implementation of SAF’s national membership strategy while also having responsibility for the on-going cultivation and growth of the organization’s corporate sponsorships.

The Sportsmen’s Alliance and its Foundation specialize in coalition building, issue campaign management, litigation, and government relations. Based in Columbus, Ohio, SAF is dedicated to fighting the battle to protect America’s fishing, hunting, and trapping legacies on behalf of sportsmen and women everywhere.

Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Membership will serve as the Alliance and Foundation’s liaison to the private and public sector in strengthening membership, cultivating business partnerships, and directing event-based fundraising initiatives, as well as establishing national chapters.

Embodying a unique blend of sophistication and down-to-earth, relatable humility, this senior officer will set ambitious, clear, and achievable goals and inspire the organization to meet the critical opportunities before it. Active in the outdoor industry and surrounding community, the Vice President will participate in the identification, solicitation, and stewardship of business partners and national chapter locations.
