We are pleased to announce the opening of our search for the first Chief Development Officer of the Susan B. Anthony List and its affiliates, one of America’s largest and most influential pro-life political organizations. At a time of unprecedented opportunity in the fight to protect the sanctity of unborn children, SBA List is seeking an experienced fundraiser and development leader to strategically grow its reach and catalytic impact.

Based at its headquarters in northern Virginia, inside the Beltway and just across the Potomac from Washington DC, this seasoned development leader and proven major gifts fundraiser will oversee and build SBA List’s development department and multi-channel fundraising strategy. The new CDO will be a key leader within the organization, reporting the President, Marjorie Dannenfelser and serving on SBA List’s executive leadership team.

With a mission to elect pro-life leaders, advance pro-life laws, save unborn lives, and work toward the day when every unborn child is protected under the law, SBA List and its affiliates raised more than $21 million in the 2017 election cycle. DB&A Executive Search is now seeking a player-coach of exceptional integrity, professional excellence, and passion for the cause of life. This is a rare opportunity to advance SBA List’s mission at a crucial time in the political history of the pro-life movement. An understanding of the major donor landscape in conservative politics, proven leadership experience, and a history of success in major gifts fundraising will be essential success factors for the right candidate.
