We are pleased to announce the unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in the growth and continued impact of The Sportsmen’s Alliance and its Foundation, the only organizations exclusively devoted to combating attacks made on America’s hunting heritage by animal rights and anti-hunting extremists.

Dedicated to fighting the battle to protect America’s fishing, hunting, and trapping legacies on behalf of sportsmen and women everywhere, The Foundation is seeking its first Vice President of Development to help the organization grow its major donor funding base while working with the senior staff and board to develop and implement an organization-wide fundraising strategy.

This position will serve on the Alliance and Foundation’s executive leadership team and report directly to President and CEO, Evan Heusinkveld. Based at the organizations’ headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, the new Vice President of Development must share a passion for the organizations’ core mission and s/he must deeply connect with America’s hunting, fishing and trapping legacies.

To complement and round out the executive leadership team, SAF is seeking an experienced development professional with demonstrated experience in leading a development team as well as directly engaging in major donor fundraising. Previous experience in the sporting and hunting arenas would be an asset as the new VPD supports SA & SAF’s specialized efforts in coalition building, issue campaign management, litigation, and government relations directly related to the rights of hunters, anglers, and trappers.
