This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a member of the senior leadership team for MB Foundation, who for 120 years has provided leadership and financial solutions for Biblical stewardship to the Mennonite Brethren community.  Built on Biblical values of stewardship, service and integrity, the Foundation continues to be a highly valued partner in meeting capital needs and charitable objectives through broad array of services to include planned giving programs, fund management-with over $190 million currently under management, investment certificates, the MB Loan Fund, and championing a stewardship lifestyle.

The Foundation has grown significantly over the past several years due to sound strategic, financial and operational direction from the leadership team.  Foundation leadership is committed to continuing to provide this level of service and, to do so, they are seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the next Chief Operations Officer/Chief Financial Officer.  Reporting to the President & CEO, the new COO/CFO will provide leadership to and direct all areas of operational, financial, and legal management of the Foundation.  This individual will lead development and implementation of strategies, initiatives, and efforts to support the mission of the Foundation while insuring business systems, policies and human capital align with and promote its vision and culture.

The successful candidate will be a growing disciple of Jesus Christ and fully embrace the Mennonite Brethren community.  The COO/CFO’s background and experience will be evidence of his/her skill and ability to manage effectively in Foundation’s environment and lead to inspire and motivate the team to continue to function at a high level with excellence and integrity.  He/She will have served in a role of similar position and responsibility and be adept at working not only with the President/CEO, Board of Directors and leadership team, but across the organization as well.  In short, the next COO/CFO will possess the knowledge, skills and experience to successfully provide leadership and guidance in support of achieving the goals and objectives of the Foundation.
