Lake Hills Church, a vibrant, growing ministry characterized as “one church in two locations for all generations” is in search of an Executive Pastor of Ministries.  With congregations in Asheville, NC and Waynesville, NC, LHC serves over 800 members through a broad range of ministry programs that span all generations. The Executive Pastor of Ministries will report to the Lead Pastor with responsibility for overall leadership and direction of ministry development, programs and staff in areas to include Adult Discipleship, Life Groups, Youth/Children’s Programs, Missions, Evangelism, Prayer Ministry Groups, Outreach and Pastoral and Member Care. In doing so, he will support and manage ministries of the church through providing leadership in the fulfillment of the defined mission of LHC.  The Executive Pastor will work closely with the senior leadership team in developing and implementing the strategic direction of LHC to achieve the adopted vision for the church.  He will develop his staff, empowering them to use their specific strengths and gifts to expand and enhance the work of their ministry areas.

In short, the Executive Pastor will be an experienced “church leader” with the knowledge, skills and ability to work closely with the Lead Pastor in guiding LHC to achieve its “God given vision.”  He will be a strong spiritual leader firmly rooted in a deep, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ which is reflected in all aspects of his life, professional and personal.  Further, he will serve as a mentor to the staff and lay leaders, equipping and guiding them to successfully perform in assigned roles.  He will be a ministry partner with the Lead Pastor supporting, assisting, and providing discernment in leading the ministry of Lake Hills Church.
