We are excited to announce the search and recruitment for the next Vice President of Development (VPD) for Beyond, a strategy-driven global missions organization that engages western servant-leaders to catalyze indigenous-led church planting movements among unreached and least reached people groups around the world. This in an excellent opportunity to be the primary development professional within a growing missions organization; the position will report directly to the President and serve on Beyond’s executive leadership team. The new VPD will serve as the primary outward facing ambassador and fund development professional for Beyond. He/she will have special focus on developing major gifts while also helping set and implement overall fundraising strategy.

Since assuming executive leadership for Beyond in 2008, President Kent Parks has been committed to leveraging his globally-recognized expertise as a missions strategist in order to help redefine the historic missions sending agency. No longer content just to do “good,” Beyond is seeking to differentiate itself as a global thought leader and effective implementer of biblically-based church-planting movement (CPM) methodologies. Around the world, Beyond’s “movement catalysts” serve as master trainers and facilitators, coming alongside indigenous leaders and spurring God-led, multi-generational movements of reproductive church-planting amongst unreached peoples.

This VPD position will be based in Beyond’s new corporate headquarters in the northern Dallas area. The successful candidate will be an intrinsically motivated and disciplined player-coach who loves direct donor engagement while also having the experience and sophistication necessary to help build out a highly productive development department over time. This role will prioritize those candidates with demonstrated success in non-profit fundraising in a Great Commission, foreign missions focused organization; however, all qualified and highly motivated applicants are encouraged to apply.
